Whitchurch Primary School is a South Oxfordshire, non-denominational, Community School which is ideally situated in a quiet, safe location designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. 

The School is smaller than the average primary school, with an admission number of 20 in reception each year, and 140 pupils in total. The school is very popular and draws its cohorts from the immediate catchment area around the school, along with children who travel from a few miles away towards Pangbourne and Whitchurch Hill in either direction. 

The school has grown over the years from its original 1960’s building and now incorporates 6 classrooms, a staffroom, kitchen and offices – all built around the central multi-purpose hall. The outdoor space includes: an  all-weather playing surface, hard-court playground and wooded and grassed areas alongside a wildlife pond. The school shares part of its site with an independently run pre-school and the onsite kitchen provides freshly cooked, hot meals for those who choose that option, on a daily basis.
